Azedia

I think I’m beginning to see a light. The library is functional, the Slickr gallery is functional, my RSS feeds are working and I even added one for Digg. That’s a bit promotional I guess, but I know a lot of the people who will visit this site don’t regularly surf there. As a result, I decided that I’ll only add links to the Digg feed that are likely to interest readers of Azedia.

So far I’m maintaining my presence at Zaadz but slowly transitioning to here and the various applications I’ve selected such as Facebook, MyBlogLog, and Twitter. Having said that it’s worth mentioning that my decision to start my own space had nothing to do with the recent seeds controversy at Zaadz. In other words, I hope you guys don’t think this went up in just a few days.. ;)

Rather, after blogging for over a year I just decided that I wanted my own space. Azedia gives me the freedom of design that I want, I can install the technological features that I want, and perhaps most importantly I believe I can reach a larger audience on websites like Digg where social-networking blogs generally do not fair very well. As a former Dreamweaver Evangelist (i.e. called Team Members now), building Azedia was also a nice way to brush up on old tricks.
